Michaël Azoulay founded the American Vintage brand in Marseille in 2005, inspired by the United States. He had been struck by the vast open spaces and the relaxed atmosphere they create, and decided to redesign that most timeless basic, the T-shirt. The collections have grown season by season, structured around increasingly detailed pieces. American Vintage now offers men's, women's and children's ranges, where colors and materials, the brand's DNA, generate excitement.
The Hartford project, conceived by Yves Chareton in the United States in 1979, was to revisit the classics of American dressing with a modern twist. By blending European influences with a relaxed, West Coast aesthetic, the brand quickly became a cult on both sides of the Atlantic. ÉTÉ 25 :” Inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle that evokes a feeling of lightness. Our collection is a nod to the sunny shores of Puglia: an ode to relaxed elegance in fluid, colourful outfits.”
“The Summer 2025 collection is all about colour, in every theme. Color block items, from pants to knitwear and from shirts to polo shirts, offer endless 'mix and match' possibilities. With warm colors for the costumes of the beginning of the season, the essentials of the wardrobe (t-shirts, polos and chino pants) are now offered in a wide range of colors. Floral, graphic or basic prints add a distinctive touch to the shirts, tee-shirts and polo shirts. This season, the iconic and subtle rugby items can be worn oversize for a more modern style. Chino trousers now come in brighter colours and less slim cuts, while new styles, such as tapered cut, make their way into our timeless ranges. The PLAY SS24 line asserts its youthful identity through a variety of creative designs and a distinctive, trendier style. “
