LAZARUS: THE EGONLAB FALL WINTER 26’ COLLECTION

THE MANIFESTO

At the opening of the show, Jameela Jamil's voice embodies the manifesto of the collection:

"Most flee the darkness; we built our sanctuary within it. Brick by shattered brick, on the ruins of every forsaken dream. Broken souls are the most beautiful, yet few dare to approach, afraid their own hearts might bleed at the touch. But here every spark becomes a blinding flame, every word holds the power of a thousand songs. 
Creativity is a blade thin, sharp, unforgiving. Only the brave dare reach for its edge. Our hands are stained not with sin, but with the raw matter of creation. Make no mistake: the true monsters do not lurk in the dark. They walk in daylight, smiling as they drain the world of wonder and call it efficiency. They speak in profit and kill with silence.
Still, we endure. In the trembling breath between two heartbeats.
Attraction should not be seen as a wicked spell, and happiness should not be seen as a price. 
The fight should not be against each other and unity is not utopia. 
Love will not tear us apart."

The LAZARUS collection aims to be a statement about our industry and this contemporary world that enforces normalization and sacrifices creativity for productivity. In this context, the role of the creative becomes increasingly uncertain, and the voices that dissent and question the established norms are becoming rarer. LAZARUS evokes an awakening, a desire to reconnect with one's true self—both creatively and personally. It is a rebirth.

Rebirth, a multifaceted term, signifies a future and a new cycle. In the case of EGONLAB, it will occur without a brutal rupture from the past. On the contrary, the brand returns to its roots to deliver a truer and more assertive vision of itself.

All the brand's habits remain, but they are more raw, more powerful, and less inclined to compromise.

Black and its beloved undertones embrace new textures and reliefs, like this print that mimics crumpled fabric. Impeccable wools and fluid jerseys also play a score with dark and deep notes.

The story told here is one of transformation, of evolution. Thus, trompe l'oeil and asymmetries refer to perfectly unfinished metamorphoses; the sharp edges and prints play with the rigor of the cut.

As always, it’s about silhouette; EGONLAB amplifies the volume and exaggerates the shoulders and proportions of tailoring. Sometimes, the brand even sees double by doubling skirts and jackets.

Denim becomes a puzzle thanks to oversized buttonholes and collars, while Jacron pockets announce one of the new brand identifiers.

Feathers adorn certain looks, transforming them into chimera, a meeting of haute couture craftsmanship and urban reality. And the patchwork effects between materials blur the lines.

This collection unfolds as a true laboratory of identity and artistic exploration. It is rooted in the essence of EGONLAB while crossing boundaries. It questions the fragile balance between creativity and commercialism, in a society that, through its norms and rigidity, renders suspect the mental health of anyone who finds comfort and adaptation within it. It is an invitation to navigate between conformity and singularity, to reveal the soul of a world that values only apparent "normality."

For this season, EGONLAB incorporates collaborations into the history of the collection:

Tinder: Egonlab partners with Tinder for a capsule titled "LOVE WILL NOT TEAR US APART."  
The capsule consists of hybrid t-shirts with grunge accents, deconstructed hoodies, a heart ring designed as a wedding band, and a couture piece in tartan feathers made in the Maison Février workshops.  
30% of the profits from this collaboration will be donated to Safe Place: a feminist association that has been fighting against all forms of domination since 2018.

Converse: EGONLAB will present a pair of the famous Chuck Taylor First String completely customized.
