LE GLAZIK was founded in 1928 in Quimper, Brittany, France. Pierre Guichard, the founder, aimed at outfitting the local sailormen with ready-to-wear , quality garments to cope with the deep blue sea, through the now-iconic Breton clothes : the genuine woolen heavy melton peacoat and cotton-canvas smock. Le Glazik still manufactures in France since 1928, in its own factory, the authentic Breton garments. LE GLAZIK turned to be the brand of reference for the Breton peacoat and smock, thanks to its actual, renowned nine-decade savoir-faire. Le Glazik also pionnered organic cotton use for canvas and shirts fabrics on its market.
