Founded by Samuel Granata in 2017 in Troyes, the historic cradle of the French textile industry, Rue Begand vaunts the merits of an energetic, contemporary, Made in France aesthetic. The idea, restore the image of the clothes we wear everyday to the office or on the street. This basic, efficient, chameleon wardrobe is not elite and adapts itself both to the codes of formal wear as well as to a certain relaxed attitude.
Rue Begand claims to be a committed label and upholds a French vision of masculine style. It is produced in L’Atelier d’Ariane, a Troyes-based family workshop that has manufactured collections for top French luxury houses and high-end international fashion companies for decades. Last year when the family’s youngest generation decided to launch a men’s ready-to-wear label, it was logical that their own sourcing and skills be at the heart of a collection that meticulously respects French excellence.
Urban but smart, uninhibited but a fervent connoisseur of labels, the Rue Begand man is active, stylish and adores these clothes that are truly addictive to the touch! Thanks to the brand’s creative director Christophe Vérot (also the designer of the Robinson Les Bains label), the Rue Begand wardrobe anchors noble, pertinent and desirable values for a new, timeless style of French manufacturing.
The inspiration for the SS19 line shown at the fair: “Weekend in Arcachon Basin” with a focus on prints and bold colors.
